We have a thermal scanning whateva going on in the office.
The security guard has this pen-like scanner thing that he points at our foreheads, telling our body temperature. Wow. This AH1N1 epidemic thingee is getting a lot of people panicky. But on the whole, it’s a good thing because people are starting to pay close attention to hygiene.
I particularly like this a lot, especially when I go places like in malls. The administration should really make it a point to install properly working soap dispensers, hand dryers and faucets, specially in restrooms. I can never be more thankful than to wash my hands after a go at the loo. Here in the office, our restrooms have this signage that graphically explains how to properly wash hands. I think it’s very informative and a good use of resources.
Let’s just hope the virus doesn’t enter the country.
